Machine-made

Machine-made prostheses are made fuller for individuals who have hair. They come in sizes ranging from petite to large, and are available in a wide variety of color selections. This type of hairpiece is constructed of cotton wefts to which the hair is sewn, and the hair is made of a synthetic fiber which has a "set-in" style. Although this type of fiber retains its original style well, it has limitation should you wish to style it differently. For the most natural looking style in a machine-made piece, look for one that has the wefts close together and a hairline that has a slight extension in the sideburn area rather than straight across over the ear.

Pre-custom cranial prostheses are made for individuals with little or no hair. They are monotop with machine made back and 2 to 3 hairs per knot in order to duplicate the way natural hair grows or all hand-tied.
The hairline has built-in recessions and sideburns, that can accommodate the needs of men and women, as well as children.
Pre-custom prostheses are made of a soft, cool polyester net for a comfortable fit. Added security in attachment is possible with this hair replacement option because of built-in areas for application of tape and/or medical adhesive. Different types of synthetic fibers are blended together. Also available in full human hair or a blend of both. In the pre-custom prosthesis to match hair textures ranging from coarse to fine and to increase style flexibility.

Full-custom cranial prostheses are made by taking a mold of the head. The hairpiece is then hand constructed from those measurements for an exact fit. A variety of materials (nylon, polyurethane, monofilament silicon etc.) are used in its construction depending on the needs of each individual. The human hair can be matched to your hair texture and color. The front hairline is virtually undetectable and security can be a maximum with the use of a medical adhesive, in addition to the other types of tape and clip attachments.
